Sažetak
Trotz Augustus' Behauptung, er habe die Grenzen des Illyricum bis an die Donau erweitert, können nur wenige archäologische Funde aus dem ganzen kroatischen Teil Pannoniens als Beweis herangezogen werden. Konkretere Beweise einer römischen militärischen Anwesenheit an der Donau in Kroatien, wie auch anderswo, sind erst ab Claudius zu verzeichnen. Die Truppenverlegung an die Donau unter Claudius, kann nicht getrennt von den Ereignissen in Dalmatien betrachtet werden. Anhand neuer Funde wird die Truppenverlegung im kroatischen Teil des Donaulimes diskutiert.
