Sažetak
This chapter looks at the available evidence on the judicial application of stabilisation and association agreements (SAAs) in the states covered in this book. Unlike many academic debates, it does not approach the SAAs from a macro-perspective, neither does it examine the role they play in the broader process of EU enlargement, nor debate their ability to encourage reforms. Rather, it focuses solely on the use of the SAAs by the courts in SEE countries. It asks whether the SAAs have been relied upon by parties in legal proceedings, and, if so, whether they have actually been applied by the courts and in what way.
