Sažetak
This study examined the frequency of enterohemorrhagic E.coli in food samples in the Zagreb area, Croatia. Enterohemorrhagic Escherichia coli O157:H7 (EHEC) strains can pose a serious health threat in tained food. Traditional culture-based methods for assay of this enteric pathogen in food is relatively slow and results can be ambiguous.
