Sažetak
The well known empirical model of elastic beam is obtained formally by application of the asymptotic expansion method. In this paper we prove that the one-dimensional model of elastic beam is an approximation to the three-dimensional linear theory of elasticity. Corresponding convergence theorem is proved.
