Sažetak
This research report is focused on the process of intergenerational transmission and reproduction of memory regarding traumatic events in Croatian society. The report is divided in three sections ; ‘introductory section’ describes historical and political context of Croatian society, as well as theoretical and methodological framework of the research. In the second section, ‘research findings’, authors presented key findings of the research in seven sub-chapters (Family mnemonic culture ; Difficult past and 'good old days' ; The 'traumatic' and 'important' events in family memories and institutionalised historical narratives ; Family memories and national identity ; Transmission of political heritage within the family ; The 'present' concerns ; What is forgotten/not talked about in the family). At the end of the report is ‘concluding section’ and references.
