Sažetak
Author in the debate raises the problem of the crisis and the reconstitution of the idea of Europe today. Considering that this is not just a crisis of values and institutional framework of modern politics but primarily the structural gap between politics and culture in understanding the foundations of the European idea, analysis attempt to be the critique of theoretical assumptions of modern Europe and the criticism of nostalgia for the return to the past. Europe lacks to meet the challenges of the global order of power (1) politically grounded European nation and (2) established a cosmopolitan citizenship beyond the pernicious rhetoric of national particularities. The crisis of democratic values and the possibility of transforming the current socio- political order are the result of oligarchic rule in the era of post-democracy . The figure of the stranger in the contemporary discourse of the Other and the difference thus becomes inevitable regulatory term exhaustion identity politics. On the trail of philosophical analysis of contemporary understanding of concepts deterritorialization / reterritorialisation in the work of Deleuze and Guattari and critical decomposition the ideas of post-national constellation of Europe in the writings of Habermas, the author concludes that the problem is based in the idea of Europe that has become a concept of freedom without power, world without ethics, politics without credibility. The issue of Europe today is becoming a fundamental question of the world in general and the possibility of true human existence beyond the interests and profits of neoliberal capitalism and its ideology appropriate to "crisis management" .
