Sažetak
This chapter presents the legal and historical aspects toward the establishing of the contemporary Croatian - Slovenian - Italian relations, streaming to present the element of European identity. The author is focused on the system to the legal sources of UN, as well as the bilateral Yugoslav-Italian international treaties in its historical genesis. There are also presented the new challenges of the relations between the new state after the dissolution of Yugoslavia, and stressed the new imperatives which could be defined as so called "Pax Adriatica".
