Sažetak
The purpose of this paper is to investigate the importance of the supply chain management in the textile, clothing & leather industry. Particularly, this paper is focused on the quality factor in managing supply chain which includes the quality of supply chain members' performances, and is categorizes into customer satisfaction, customer response, lead time, on time delivery, fill rate, stock-out probability and accuracy. Based on previous theoretical and empirical evidence, two hypotheses about the impact of supply chain quality on the companies’ effectiveness and customer satisfaction, were set in the paper. The research on the sample of 34 companies in the Croatian textile, clothing and leather industry confirmed both hypotheses and showed positive impact of supply chain quality to effectiveness and customer satisfaction in textile, clothing & leather industry.
