Sažetak
Textile industry is an industry that employs a relatively large amount of labor, especially women. Further development of the textile industry is possible with the creation of a more favorable economic and business environment and the development of technical and technological innovation. In developed economies, innovation has been given special attention, and inventiveness as productive activity high on the scale of values. In the Department of Clothing Technology Faculty of Textile Technology University of Zagreb have developed products with high added value: intelligent clothes and thermal manikin. As proof of innovation of mentioned product are patents and won awards.
