Sažetak
This article gives ana analysis of the effects of arbitral awards give them the characteristics od a suitable tool for legal protection of subjective rights. That is the objective of every procedure as well as of the arbitration, which should be faster and more effective. Special attention is given to the provisions of croatian law and nationalm law of the number of states regarding the enforceability of awards and other circumstances od judicial acts which should exist in order to equate awards with final decisions of state courts as well as to the possibibility of the dispositions of the parties to the dispute which could alter the effects of the award.
