Sažetak
With this paper the author will point out some difficulties in the use of the published transcription of notary book of Rijeka’s public notary and Chancellor Antonio de Renno from Modena. The reading of the book was continuously published through last hundred years by Silvino Gigante and Mirko Zjačić. The former published correction of Gigante’s reading of the parts of the book. The reading of text made by M. Zjačić, a continuation on Gigante’s work, could be seen as a good way of publishing archival material. Nevertheless, this could be said only to the first part published in 1956. This contribution offers some insights regarding the problems of the whole corpus of published texts made by the two mentioned editors.
