Sažetak
Biostratigraphic analyses showed different extent of certain members of Miocene age. Depending on the development of paleorelief, these deposits were sedimented in different environments. Marine deposits attributed to the Egger were documented by discovery of planktonic foraminifera in the Merhatovec-1 well, but the Ottnangian, with influence of fresh water, was documented in the Vučkovec-1 and Vučkovec-3 wells. During the Karpathian marine transgresion covered area of the Merhatovec-1, Merhatovec-2, Vučkovec-1 and Vučkovec-3 resulting in predominantly benthic foraminifera in the shallow shelf. In addition to the pronounced influence of the open sea renewed marine transgresion during the early Bedenian increased the portion of planktonic foraminifera and deepened sedimentation area. Regressive sequence of the deposits was repeated during the Upper Badenian and shallow water benthic foraminifera predominate in the environment of the inner shelf.
