Sažetak
Reactivation of the Middle Triassic rift faults and spreading in the post-Liassic period led to desintegration of the Apulian - Adriatic carbonate platform, which during Early Lias-Upper Triassic time extend over whole Peri-Adriatic area. Mentioned events have resulted on the creation of the pelagic type of the Ionian-Central Adriatic-Belluno basin. This basin was situated between the margin zones of Apulia and Adriatic carbonate platform (ACP).
