Sažetak
The most important part of a machininh process planning system is the cutting process itself, i.e. how to select proper cutting tools, machine tools, cutting speeds and feeds for both roughing and finishing operations. Since this selection depends significantly on the availability of reliable machinability data, a concept of Integrated Machinability Testing (IMT)is proposed. Finally, the selection of optimum machining data is referred to the original software product called Cutting Process Optimizer (CPO).
