Sažetak
We have recently completed a revision of the taxonomy, paleoecology, evolutionary relationships and stratigraphic distributions of planktonic foraminifera from the Oligocene Epoch fro the new Atlas on Oligocene Planktonic Foramnifera, which will follow the two previous on Palecene and Eocene. As was the case in the previous two Atlases, we have based our investigations on scanning electron micrographs of most of the type specimens and extensive illustration of exceptionally well-preserved material from around the world. The Atlas of Oligocene Planktonic Foraminifera is composed of 21 chapters in which all the species spanning the Oligocene and Early Miocene are documented.
