The thesis consists of four translations from Croatian into English. The introduction contains a definition of translation and decsriptions of various approaches to translation. The translations and their analyses make up the main body of the thesis. The translations are those of an article about architecture, an article from an encyclopedic magazine, an economic analysis and an article from an educational journal.
