Sažetak
The development of local spatial data infrastructure (LSDI's) brings a variety of benefits to local communities. Spatial data collected at the local level represent a very important and significant proportion of data at the national level. Thus developed LSDI's becomes more important in the context of the National Spatial Data Infrastructure (NSDI). Selection of software for development and maintenance LSDI's has an important role in the viability and opportunities LSDI's to become a viable system and respond to the requirements. Given past experience and knowledge of development LSDI's, the frequency can. Based on existing experience advantages and disadvantages of individual solutions can be analyzed. This work includes the analysis of used software to develop a LSDI's and analyzed strengths and weaknesses of solutions in local communities. Recognizing the good and bad characteristics of developed system an optimal solution for open source development LSDI's can be found in order systems based on these findings were more likely to become viable and sustainable.
