Sažetak
This paper describes Finite Volume implementation of the Spectral Wave Explicit Navier Stokes Equations [1] method in OpenFOAM. The method is intended for transient free surface flows with gravity waves. Both static and dynamic structures can be simulated. Volume of Fluid method is used for interface capturing. Relaxation zones are introduced as in [2], but the blending is achieved implicitly. Validation of developed method is done on two test cases. The first case considers wave modelling in a two dimensional wave tank using stream function wave theory [3]. The second case compares wave loads on the truncated cylinder with experimental results [4].
