Sažetak
The B.A. thesis deals with the English preposition over and its Croatian equivalents. A reasearch was conducted on 200 English sentences in which "over" appears as a preposition. They were translated into Croatian in order to determine which Croatian preposition appears as an appropriate translation. In the Introduction an overview of theoretical frameworks is given. The main part of the thesis consists of various examples of sentences in which "over" appears, ther Croatian translations and analysis of each case. The result of this is a table of translational equivalents.
