Sažetak
This thesis focuses on the orthographic adaptation and classification of stylistics features and functional styles of anglicisms in Croatian, specifically, in Croatian editions of National Geographic magazine. This research project will analyse the degree of adaptation on the orthographic level. This adaptation can be considered according to the pronunciation, orthography, a combination of the two or the influence of an intermediate language of the model. The aim of this investigation is to determine the stylistic features in scientific and educational magazines in Croatian on the lexical level through seventy-one anglicisms. In addition, this analysis will help determine to what extent English influences Croatian.
