Sažetak
Presentation focuses on factors that are widely explored in political debates, 'knowledge society' and 'sustainable development'. The study is especially concerned with the belief implied by the politicians that the development of the knowledge economy and, more broadly, of knowledge society will result in sustainable development. It shows that the sustainability potential of a given knowledge society varies with its contextualization within the normative framework of neoliberal capitalism in different European countries.
