Sažetak
The main aim of this paper is to show the fundamental differences between the Facility and Asset Management, and Asset Governance. Facility management is an interdisciplinary profession which provides the functionality of the property in a way that integrates people, space, process and technology (Cotts, Roper, Payant 2010). Asset Management refers to the way in which the assets will be acquired, held or disposed of, with a maximum return on investment. Asset Governance focuses on the explanation of individual policies, transparency and accountability in the creation and implementation of policies and strategies for the effective implementation of adopted policies. Asset Governance is linked to Facility Management and Asset Management in the way that it provides a political structure which determines the space for the implementation of an excellent Asset Management.
