Sažetak
Plasma levels of circulating iterleukin 1ß (IL-1ß) and intreleukin 1 antagonost (IL-1Ra) wree determined in patients with alcoholic hepatitis and in healthy controls. IL-1ß and IL-1Ra were significantly increased in the circulation of patients with alcoholic hepatitis compared with healthy controls (P<0, 05 and P<0, 01). In patientswith alcoholic hepatitis IL-1Ra positively corelated with the parameters of liiver injury (AST, bilirubin)(P<0, 05). There was no correlation either between plasma levels of IL-1ß and liver injury or between IL-1ß and IL-1Ra in patients with alcoholic hepatitis. Results of the study showed IL-1ß and IL-1Ra to be increased in patients with alcoholic hepatitis, and increased level of IL-1Ra to be related to hepatitis activity.
