Sažetak
The idea of using wet-frozen textile workpieces, aiming at highly automated manipulation in the process of clothing assembly and sewing, is outlined and briefly discussed. Some related practical questions are considered. The analysis of mechanical behaviour is based on the limit analysis of the plasticity theory, assuming the body in consideration to be approximately described by the rigid-plastic thin plate model. The collapse diagrams indicate the dominant yield pattern and corresponding ultimate load in terms of geometric parameters of plate and grip. Finally, some preliminaries of the related experimental verification are given.
