Sažetak
Muscle ischemia, due to peripheral atherosclerotic diseases, compartmental syndrome and some types of muscle dystrophy, is one of pathologic conditions of important interest, when bioimpedance measurement is considered. Changes in blood circulation, metabolism of tissue and, the electrolyte concentration of extra- and intra-cellular fluids influence the bioimpedance value. Such a changes require an immediate surgical intervention, but also have an impact on bioimpedance properties of affected tissue and, may be verified in the early phase by Multi-Frequency Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis (MFBIA). The purpose of presented study was to explore, using MFBIA, the correlation between ischemic muscle changes on patients with chronic or acute leg ischemia and changes of bioimpedance values.
