Sažetak
Influence of different tennis shoe models on in-shoe plantar pressure distribution and in-shoe contact surface during walking and running on treadmill is presented. Measurements were performed on a young tennis player wearing 11 different tennis shoe models using F-scan (Tekscan, Boston, MA) pressure measuring system. Measured variables – pressure underneath the whole feet (PF), heel (PH), metatarsal part (PMT), 1st metatarsal head including hallux (PMTH) and surface underneath whole feet (SF) – expresses great difference between tested shoes. For each variable, index of asymmetry was calculated as a measure of difference between left and right foot variables. Our results show not only differences in asymmetry index values but also differences in its polarity for particular shoes in comparison with bare feet. This means that in a different tennis shoe greater pressure is applied to the different foot (left or right). The differences are also evident for walking and running.
