Sažetak
For blood pressure measurement in finger a combined measurement method was developed. The method is based on the usage of an air-filled finger cuff for occlusion of proximal finger arteries and a pulse sensor placed at the fingertip for detecting distal arterial volume changes. Improved algorithms for systolic and diastolic pressure determination are described. Systolic pressure determination is based on detection of appearance of distal oscillations, along with the simultaneous determination with the algorithm based on the envelope of proximal oscillations. Diastolic pressure determination is based on calculation of weighted average of pressures obtained by three algorithms - from the envelope of difference of proximal and distal oscillations, from the envelope of proximal oscillations and from the transit time curve. Experimental evaluation was performed on 32 subjects. The accuracy improvement of both systolic and diastolic pressure measurement was achieved.
