Sažetak
The woman patient, 46 years old, had urinating troubles, occipital tingle, slowly increasing neck pain, and tingling feelings in the left hemithorax and the left arm, ending in her hands, beginning six months before arrival according to her history of illness. Later she developed left arm weakness and a few days before check-up she felt weakness in both legs, more pronounced on the left side. After physical therapy treatment her symptoms aggravated. Neurologic status showed signs of spastic tetraparesis, more prominent on her left side, and the urinary retention. There was muscle atrophy on the left hand and decreased sensibility below C2 level. MRI finding showed spheric, well circumscribed mass, sized 2.5 cm in diameter, on the level of craniocervical junction, adhering to the front border of the spinal canal. The MRI characteristics of the mass were typical for the diagnosis of meningoema. She was operated thirteen days after arrival to hospital: the PHD confirmed the diagnosis of meninogeoma. After the rehabilitation her neurological status was normal.
