Sažetak
The extreme complexity of transport networks with SDH and PDH elements requires an advanced information system for configuration monitoring and management, with the inclusion of formalised rules for describing manageable elements. These rules are implemented in an expert tool, named Transport Network Designer (TND). TND is a user-friendly intelligent graphical tool for informational description and interconnection of network components, as well as for loading of their instances in the Transport Network Database (TRNET). This paper is focused on verification of TND functionality, TND being an expert tool of Transport Network Information System (TNIS).
