Sažetak
Wind farms are visually exposed and notable structures in a landscape. After the decision on their development within a certain area, the most important criterion of their spatial integration is an appreciation of the specific characteristics of a landscape they are implemented in. The aims of such approach are (1) providing the good incorporation of a wind farm into a landscape, (2) positive perception of wind turbines for the residents and visitors within an area and, finally, (3) protection of landscape qualities from negative changes and impacts of a certain activity. Detailed landscape vulnerability assessment includes making of vulnerability models, as a preventive methodological approach to protection of landscape qualities. The vulnerability models analyse problem of effects derived from development in existing landscape and define areas which are the most vulnerable considering a specified activity.
