Sažetak
Modern information technology with its emerging ways of integrating opens new possibilities in extending demands for widening business area. The Internet as a global network and local networking known as corporate intranets ask for modified approach in an application design. One of the most obvious characteristics of such applications is a heterogeneous environment. It is understandable that in such environment applications also could be distributed. In a modern, object-oriented approach they consists of objects that communicate regardless of their location, platform and development language. There are several possible solutions in approaching design of previously mentioned distributed applications (e.g. CORBA, DCOM). While solving application domain problem it is recommendable to find and use existing reusable solutions that are documented as design patterns. Some of class instances from selected design pattern are objects that are going to feature in distributed object model. Integration of these two components shows significant advantages but there are still certain problems. This paper discuss one approach regarding these problems by using CORBA objects, few creational, structural and behavioral design patterns that supervise database approach and management.
