Sažetak
The essay focuses on the relation between Breton's notions of poetic image and interior model and Bergson's notion of the image. Bergson's notion of the image turns dream, memory and perception into creative and dynamical processes which cannot be reduced to pure representation. Similarly, Breton's notions of poetic image and modèle intérieur displace the metaphorical model of poetic language and the representational model of painting. As a conclusion, it is argued for proximity between notions of surreal and virtual.
