Sažetak
The consequences of explosion of ammunition storage depots are spatially scattered unexploded ordnances (UXOs). The unplanned explosion of ammunition depot, caused by extensive forest fire, happened in Pađene, Croatia. Airborne multisensor image acquisition (with Advanced Intelligence Decision Support System ‐ AI DSS) over destroyed ammunition depot in Pađene, Croatia, has been executed. In this paper we introduce a novel methodology for semi‐automatic interpretation of digital multisensor images for the purpose of detection and extraction of UXOs on images provided with AI DSS. It includes methods and procedures based on the statistical and object image analysis for improved identification and extraction of UXOs. The method is designed to assist the interpreter in the analysis of images, rather than as an automatic method for image analysis.
