Sažetak
Various finite element techniques applied to the analysis of large power transformers are summarized. Two- and three-dimensional nonlinear, static and eddy current models to predict the losses in the windings, the laminated iron parts as well as in the conducting structural parts are developed. The computation of forces on the windings and core is also discussed.
