Sažetak
Names from epigraphic monuments from Dalmatia and southern Bosnia are analysed in this paper. The names are divided into categories and statistic data on their frequency of occurrence are given. The etymology and etiology of anthroponyms are given. The language features are commented on and their importance for the research of language and culture is stressed. On epigraphic monuments the names of Slavic origin occur most often, followed by the names of Greek and Hebrew origin. In the notation (orthography) of the names one can notice many characteristics of Vulgar Latin language (monophthogation of diphthongs, variation in the recording of geminates, mixing of case endings...).
