Sažetak
The article provides an overview of Croatian puppetry: the history and the present-day situation. It describes the history of each of the five professional puppet theatres, their aesthetics, puppetry techniques and the most significant artists. It also provides information about puppet shows at other theatres and companies, puppet festivals, the study of puppetry at the Academy of Arts in Osijek, Croatian Centre of UNIMA and puppetry publications.
