Sažetak
While using the Web-based hypermedia courseware the students need navigational help to find their way through the learning material. Otherwise, they could get lost in the hyperspace. Adaptive educational hypermedia systems (AEHS) resolve this problem through the adaptive navigation and presentation support.
In this paper we describe our approach to the development of a Web-based adaptive educational hypermedia system with the emphasis on adaptive navigation support. The model we propose is based on adaptive lessons sequencing and link annotation technique. Our goal is to develop an AEHS, which would restrict the students choice as little as possible, but also guide the student to take the best learning paths. This paper proposes the domain model, the student model and the adaptation model for achieving the combination of the free and guided adaptive navigation.
