Sažetak
In the paper it is assumed that the underwater acoustic noise as an acoustic signal, of a so called silent vessel, is a sum of the extremely weak zero mean Gaussian stochastic process with a finite variance and a finite number of sine waves with approximately stable amplitudes. Also it is assumed that the deep-sea ambient noise is the zero mean Gaussian stochastic process with a finite variance too. In the paper are considered the probability density functions of the instantaneous values of the vessel underwater acoustic waveform, on the receiving location, when it has only one sine wave and the deep-sea ambient noise. The likelihood ratio of the optimum statistical detection is given too.
