Sažetak
Infrastructure project in water sector could be financed through the partnership between private and public sectors based on various models. In the Republic of Croatia, there are opportunities for participation in the financing in water industry, in water supply and sewerage facilities.The paper shows: the legal framework for foreign investments // foreign and domestic investments are equalized // the way for investing foreign capital in Croatia. The data on developing long term investment opportunities in sector of water supply and municipal/industrial waste water are given. The rewiew of the implication of the rebuilding programme for foreign investors,including programme examples for private investors is given:waste water treatment plant for the city of Zagreb // water supply and sewerage systems for the city of Split // waste water treatment plant for Zaprešić town.
