Sažetak
The development of areas in Pančevački Rit through surface and subsurface drainage has been started with the aim of increasing the utilization of production potentials of land and stabilization of agricultural production on a higher level. The investigation results are shown as for the effects of drainage upon soil, hydrology, production conditions, plant and yields. Observations were carried out in natural conditions, on the production areas on farm holding covering 7,280 ha. The yields on drained and andreined areas are compared and production functions are determined.
