Sažetak
Public water supply in Croatia is characterised as unsatisfactory and it has became even worse after the war-generated damage. The review is given of the water resources and the impact of pollution on water supply. Basic principles, strategies and objectives of water supply improvement in the scope of the overall environment management and sustainable development activities are proposed.
