Sažetak
This chapter discusses the three approaches to the study of hte work in social studies. The first apporaches is oriented toward studying individual work goals and values. The other approach has focused on the examination of meaning of work using concepts such as work involvement and work salience. The third approach analysis the effects of work alienation, a state rising from the lack of opportunity for self-fullfillment at work.
