Sažetak
This case-study comprises control loop diagnostics, analysis and optimization of all control loops within Methanol Company (SMC) in Sultanat of Oman. During process control loop diagnostics and optimization procedure all control loops have been switched to automatic control mode, which increased stability of the entire plant. The overall plant control system performance is significantly improved, which ultimately has a positive effect on product quality and energy consumption.
