Sažetak
The paper presents an accurate and computationally efficient method for designing spherical lens antennas. The spherical lens is rigorously taken into account by implementing the Green’s functions for the multilayer spherical structures. The feed excitation is approximated with radiation of a complex Huygens element. Important benefit of the considered method lies in simplicity of implementing different types of feeding antennas into the lens antenna design.
