Sažetak
The main objective of reengineering is to reduce production costs per unit of product, improve product quality and develop competitive manufacturing capabilities with the application of new production philosophy. The paper discusses the development and characteristics of modern industrial manufacturing, reengineering and competitive capability and application reengineering tools and criteria for new manufacturing philosophy in the development of competitive production. Showing the dependence of competitive capability of the new production philosophy and reengineering and implementation of innovation and knowledge in modeling and simulation process, expert systems and quality systems in reengineering.
