Sažetak
This paper presents designing of smart wheelchairs. In the first part of the paper general features of nowadays smart wheelchairs and problems of localization and mapping are described. The second part presents the details of the concept of the smart wheelchair, its CAD model and sensor equipment that would be implemented. The idea is to make an advanced wheelchair which will give comfort to a user within the acceptable price range. Further work includes the development of the control system and wiring, as well as project methodology for efficient customer- oriented design and production.
