Sažetak
The importance of knowledge and the process of acquiring knowledge is the topic of conversation in the various scientific and professional circles ; namely about that is discussed in the framework of modern societies for many years. Talking about the Republic of Croatia, as well as all societies or countries which members or residents are in the process of using funds from various sources, such as World Bank, European Union, European Investment Bank, we can say that they are in a challenging situation. Because in order that mentioned funds be used, there is necessary to satisfy more or less formal requirements prescribed by the donator.This article is a review of the role and function of knowledge, especially the knowledge which is gained through virtual education about the process of preparation and implementation of projects, particularly about those projects which will be applied and competed for sources of EU and other donators funds. This article is mostly based on primary research conducted during the 2012. The used technique was online survey among examinee in the Pannonia region of Croatia. The aim of research was to determine the position and perspective of the stakeholders in region, towards the EU funds. In this paper, emphasis is given to the way and the importance that the stakeholders connect with the knowledge and education on EU funds , and there are analyzed situation in the area of virtual education on EU projects in Croatia. In addition the work provides answers to some related issues that have been obtained not only into within mentioned primary research, but also during conducted secondary research.
