Sažetak
Laparoscopic surgery represents new development in surgery in last two decades, which is based on development of endoscopy, biotechnical sciences and surgery itself. It has been a trigger for development of all minimally invasive procedures. Benefits that have been seen in laparoscopic surgery, such as less postoperative pain, less wound complications, less pulmonary complications, good visualisation, good cosmetics outcome are driving, all involved in this process, to overcome all obstacles and to improve both ; technical and human factors which limit this procedure. We have seen great changes in the last two decades, and we are bound, in near future, to see more, as laparoscopy has started a trend in seeking new horizons in surgical treatment.
