Sažetak
In this article waste steel shot is used as an adsorbent. Steel shot is a non-hazardous waste generated during the cleaning of castings in the foundry. Four kinetic models were studied to describe the kinetics of the adsorption system waste steel shot / Cr (VI) ions: Lagergren, Hoo, Elovich and in traparticle kinetic model. The results show that the adsorption of chromium on the waste steel shot follows the Hoo's kinetic model.
