Sažetak
The EraSME project entitled "High efficient and cost-effective air lift MBR for water reuse in textile finishing" working on a wastewater treatment technology for wastewater produced in textile company. Within the project 3 companies were collaborated with an education institution. The project is based on quantifying the novel concept of a compact, high-efficiency and cost-effective waste treatment plant for water recycling after textile finishing. This idea buildson th eapplication and futher development of air-lift MBR in a textile factory in order to attain water that can be reused in a proces in combination with ozonisation as a post treatment step. Membrane bioreactor (MBR) are an emerging technology of major potential in wastewater treatment. The MBR is a combination of the conventionally activated sludge process and ultra- or microfiltration for the separation of sludge and treated wastewater. The two fold effect of biological treatment and subsequent membrane filtration makes this process an efficient tool for the purification but on the other hand, the process becomes more sensitive of surroundings and operational parameters because of the present biology.
